"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."

FOUND!

Last Thursday evening we had the privilege of having Dixie, the director of  GLA from Haiti, stay with us as she begins a month long speaking tour through Canada. It was great to get to know her and also get an inside scoop on the orphanage, Haiti, and most of all on Leika. The fabulous news we got was that the lost aunt was found and had already met with IBESR (see last post) and our paperwork is officially submitted!

This mean that the long wait can begin! But at least it is a wait with a somewhat predictable timeline. In about three months we should get to travel for the first time to Haiti for a court date.

The kids in the GLA orphanage got to dress up as cowboys and cowgirls - I don't think they got to go trick or treating however. Here is my little cowgirl...
